Meet Our Staff!
Judy Hicks
Judy Hicks, our North Augusta Receptionist, is a native of Aiken County. Judy has worked in the North Augusta Office since July 2016. She previously worked at the Savannah River Site and retired after over 30 years of federal service. She is an active member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville where she volunteers in various ministries. Judy has two daughters and four grandchildren.
Erika Kulig
Erika Kulig grew up in the CSRA. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies in 2013 at Augusta Technical College. Erika joined the Maxwell Law Group in 2021 and serves as a personal injury, litigation, and workers’ compensation paralegal in both our Aiken and North Augusta office. During her time off, she enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, reading books, and attending baseball games at the SRP park.
Lisa Izlar
Lisa Izlar is a paralegal in our North Augusta office. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and an Associates in Paralegal Studies. Lisa lives in North Augusta with her husband, their two sons and several pets. During her time off, she enjoys walking/biking on the Greenway and going to the lake and church with her family.
Paige Harting
Paige, one of our Aiken paralegals, joined the group in February 2026 as the receptionist, before making her change over to become a paralegal. She is originally from Michigan, but moved to Aiken when she was ten, and enjoying the beautiful weather ever since. She has previously worked in an assortment of retail roles, before finding herself in Indiana for a year as a receptionist at a dental office, deciding she missed her friends, family, dogs, and most importantly the weather, she made her move back to Aiken. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of various hobbies including, reading, music, watching football & volleyball in the fall, movies, and all things pop culture.
Ansley Daniel
Ansley Daniel is a paralegal in our Aiken office. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from the University of South Carolina and later received an associate degree in Art Direction. Before returning to the CSRA, Ansley spent 15 years working as a visual designer and art director. She also brings three years of experience as a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina and Georgia. Ansley lives in North Augusta with her husband and their two boys. Outside of work, she regularly volunteers at First Baptist Church of Augusta, enjoys oil painting, and plays mahjong.
Taylor McGee
Taylor McGee, our Aiken receptionist, is a born and raised Aiken local. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Music Industry Studies. When Taylor is not at work, she enjoys playing guitar, running, fishing, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
Madeline Lawrence
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Madeline Lawrence moved to Aiken with her parents at the age of eight and considers herself a local. Prior to joining Maxwell Law Group in 2022, Madeline gained experience working in probate administration and probate litigation at a firm in Lexington, South Carolina. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of South Carolina Aiken with a dual degree in English and Education. She received her paralegal certification from the University of South Carolina. Madeline lives in Aiken with her husband Ryan and daughters, Lillian and Elodie.
